Storytelling & Film Production
It’s simple: whoever tells the best story wins.
Today, anyone can make a film. It is the ability to structure and tell a story that makes a difference.
People have been mesmerized by stories since the Stone age. That’s how our ancestors communicated, together around the campfire in the evenings. There stories from the day took center stage. That symbiosis – stories and the sense of feeling secure and relaxed – remains to this day deeply rooted in our DNA.
A good story follows a structure our subconscious recognizes. That’s why we embrace a good story better than any other form of communication. Mattias Brännholm of Brama Film, learned this structure in the early 19902 when he studied film production in Hollywood, California. Over the years, Mattias has worked with content production and fine tuning his knowledge for film production and storytelling.
We are passionate about telling good stories. We are also quite good at finding stories. We can probably find your story too.

Founded in 2008.
Brama was founded in 2008 by Mattias Brännholm. Prior to Brama, Mattias worked at the Swedish Public Broadcaster (SVT) for almost 20 years with editorial planning, production and distribution at the national news and sports desk. For several years, Mattias served as the US Sports correspondent.
Svenska Spel
In addition to SVT, Mattias has also worked as digital business developer, project manager and executive producer at the state owned gambling company Svenska Spel. Mattias main duty was to market Svenska Spel’s various products with editorial content. Before content marketing was even an established concept and practice, Mattias was responsible for the largest content marketing project in Sweden: Spelkanalen. A live channel that broadcasting 11 hours a day 362 days a year to betting agents.
Furthermore, Mattias was also the architect and project manager for the deployment of live production of all the Swedish Soccer Leagues 200 games seasonally.
Twentyfourseven
Mattias has also been CEO of the Swedish operation at Twentyfourseven, Sweden’s largest supplier of production technology solutions to the television industry.

Today, Mattias runs Brama. The core business is storytelling and film production. In December 2019, Mattias became the first Swede to undergo Storybrand’s certification program in Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
